“Helplessness Blues”
Doox of Yale
Over the past 65 years, “Da Doox” have grown from a young quartet into a rowdy and incredibly close family of more than 400 singers. In the process, we’ve become one of the most respected singing groups in the country. We tour internationally, record albums regularly, and charm presidents and preschoolers alike. Doox of Yale, known at the time as “The Duke’s Men of Yale,” was named one of the nation’s top 5 male a cappella groups by the Contemporary A Cappella Society of America. The group has also placed in the top 4 at the International Competition of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) after winning the national round. In keeping with our goals to create music that reflects our community, we now invite all singers, regardless of sex or gender identity, to join us in the years ahead. In 2018, we changed our name to reflect this: Doox of Yale.
