A New Havenish SOS 2024
SOS 2024, our 32nd annual Sing Out for Shelter concert, raised nearly $40,000 to support our constituent charities battling homelessness in the DC Metro area: Friendship Place, Christ House, and the food ministries supported by the National United Methodist Church, also our concert venue since the 1990s. It was a New Havenish event because we were privileged to have as featured performers the 2024 edition of both of Yale’s all-senior a cappella groups, Whim n’ Rhythm, The Whiffenpoofs , and local talent from the Maret School Gracenotes.
Thanks to the Church for hosting, to our charities for the work they do every day, to our performers; to our Emcee, Whiff and Augmented 8 alumn, Ed Spitzberg; and our sponsors, donors, and audience for helping to make this such a great event.
